Applicants are required to complete an Expression of Interest form online via http://www.biffa-award.org. If applicants are invited forward to complete a full application, a link to the online application form will be sent directly to them. Once invited, applicants need to submit their full application by a specified deadline as outlined in their invitation letter; it would be seen at the next available Board meeting. Biffa Award will hold four board meetings per year. Applicants will be advised of which meeting their project will be taken to and advised on application deadline dates accordingly.

Enrol with Entrust

From 1 April 2024, organisations no longer need to be an enrolled Environmental Body (EB) with Entrust to be eligible for a grant. If an organisation is not an EB and is awarded funding, Biffa Award will register the project with Entrust on behalf of the applicant. If the applicant is already an EB and previous projects have completed, the applicant may be able to revoke from the scheme before applying for funding. Please contact Entrust to discuss this.
