11th Winchester Scout Hut, Winchester - Extension (1946/D/TP)

The project is to update and improve facilities at the Scout Hut, known as the Log Cabin, by remodelling the entrance and extending the side of the Log Cabin to create disabled access and toilets, and create storage facilities for the different groups that use the cabin. We also want to make the building more energy efficient by stopping draughts, insulating where possible, installing energy efficient doors and windows, low energy lighting and water-saving devices. The Trust grant will contribute towards the extension.
