14th Eastleigh Scout Group, Eastleigh – New Heating System (1739/D)

The Trust grant will contribute towards the heating system. The project is for 4 environmentally friendly heat pumps which will run on electricity that is generated by existing solar PV system. This will mean heating the building at no cost to the group and with no carbon emissions. The project will replace an electric fan heater and inefficient blown air gas system which is costly to run and the project will bring heat to parts of the building which are currently unheated.
