1540 Cottenham Salvation Army Barn Restoration and Improvements

The Cottenham Salvation Army Barn is a 19th century building which for many years has provided valuable community service but its facilities are no longer up to acceptable standards for this use to continue. The projest is to restore and upgrade this historic building, which is currently being used for many leisure and recreational local community groups. The improvements to the Barn include damp proofing of the whole building; removal and replacement of substandard kitchen units, provision of additional wall units and retiling; replacement of existing toilets and sinks; alteration to layout of toilet cubicles to improve disabled access, baby changing facilities and tiled splash backs; increased and more secure storage facilities and redecoration.
