1st Chapel-en-le-Frith Scout Group – HQ Refurbishment (50085/D)

The project is is to improve the building to make it more accessible to a wider range of users, to upgrade the existing aged mechanical and electrical services to meet current standards, and improve its amenity for visiting users. The interior refurbishment and remodelling works will provide improved access for disabled users, a new disabled WC facility, a shower and improved kitchen space. Specific objectives include: remodelling of existing WCs to provide a separate WC for disabled users including re-laying of drains, installation of a separate shower, building works to enlarge existing kitchen facilities, relocation of an external door to improve access for disabled users, replacement of existing water heater, upgrading of internal electrical systems to meet current wiring regulations and replacement of extract fans.

The Trust gant will contribute towards the remodelling of WCs and to provide a disabled WC, upgrade electrics, water heater and extraction systems and to provide an accessible door.
