1st Corringham Scout Group, Essex - New Meeting Hall (006139)

The current Scout Hut is currently in a dilapidated state and is slowly sinking into the lake that sits behind it. The facilities are very outdated compared to the modern world we live in. The applicants plan to demolish the existing building and provide the community and Scout Group with a new modern, disability accessible, Eco friendly building. The aim is that with a new building the applicants will be able to continue and improve the programme of scouting that is currently offered as well as being able to give the community a hall that they will be able to hire out for their own use.
