1st Sedgefield Scouts, County Durham – Scout Hall Renovation (50300/D)

Our project is to modernise and refurbish the Scout Hall. In summary,elevate the roof and ceiling to the extended area at the rear, along with relocating the staircase. This will create an independent meeting area on the 1st floor; replace the 1960’s toilet and washing area; relocate, replace and modernise the kitchen facilities; install a new fire alarm system to conform with regulations, to widen the hall’s access and appeal. This will bring the premises up to date and by creating additional meeting space, that we will be able to be shared with more groups needing a space to meet.

The award will contribute towards the renovation.
