2511/D: Plumstead Common – Nature Reserve Improvements

Improve infrastructure, public awareness, sustainability and access to the Nature Reserve, by replacing the nature reserve fencing adjacent to Plumstead Common. Removing excessive bramble and shrubs along the nature reserve boundary planting native hedging to increase biodiversity Increasing access and safety by installing recycled timber and aggregate steps in addition to a new clearway path at the eastern end of the site for greater access. Improve local understanding, knowledge and education through interpretation boards at each entrance Develop local awareness through an open day and three other events to publicise the reserve to local residents and stakeholders
