25th Leicester (Queniborough) Scout Hut Air Source Heat Pump Project

Over the past 18 months, Queniborough Scout Hut has been demolished and replaced with a fit for purpose new build. This further project is to install an environment friendly sustainable heating system to the main activity hall using Air Source Heat Pumps. The significant interest from the community in using the hall has led to the identification of the need for an independent heating source for the main hall. The main hall needs its own heating system to provide heat for small, less active group activities such as art classes, gardening clubs etc. Conversely, when the weather is too warm, the proposed system can provide cool air to the hall.
