306th Kitchen, Toilets and Heating Improvements

Currently there is a shortage in the area of community space, the local church hall is both fully occupied and pristine. The scout hut, though not dirty, is a good place for a much wider range of activities including those that might involve the odd mark on the walls or use of our field.
We would like to extend the use of the hut as a resource for local families to host celebrations. To date we have had engagements, several children’s parties, a wedding and a wake. As the hut has a large outdoor area it is ideal for this type of event within a relatively disadvantaged community.
Our problems are those of age, the kitchen, toilets and heating in the main hall all need replacing to meet the needs of enhanced Covid cleanliness and provide the comforts that babies, toddlers and older users require.
