“A Light and Colourful Future for Hunsdon Village Hall”

To provide an energy efficient, modern lighting system for the needs of our 12 user groups. Lighting will be upgraded with new energy efficient fittings complying with current standards. The specification includes new dimmable fluorescent strip lighting, down/up lighters and LED strip lighting around the walls. The project will provide the light intensity, but flexibility to meet all needs, ages and activities, from sport, social, games and weddings. This will allow subdued mood lighting for weddings and evening events and higher levels of illumination for badminton and bowls, for example. This will result in a more attractive facility for potential users and private hirers, thus improving sustainability and increasing social inclusion.

This project will be complemented by re-decoration of the Hall financed from other sources.
