A makeover for Leighton Moss

This project will redevelop Leighton as a truly flagship nature reserve for Lancashire. We will complete a range of capital works on site. These include a wildlife garden and car park improvements at the rear of the centre, and a viewing tower. We hope to install a remote camera system, to view wildlife close-up from inside the visitor centre. We will enhance existing and interpretation facilities on site, and improve reserve infrastructure. We will also create new, state-of-the-art hides to replace existing hides that are falling apart.
