A New Boardwalk for Chitty’s Common

Our project will install approximately 140 metres of sustainably sourced wooden boardwalks along the main pathway through the woodland at the local community common. An external contractor will be employed to undertake the groundwork required and to lay the wooden longitudinal runners and cross-bearers that will form the foundation of the boardwalk. Our dedicated team of volunteers from the local community, as well as students a local college, will then assist with the installation of the decking which will sit on top of the support structure.
