A New Life For Christ Church Hall

The restoration of Christ Church Hall for the benefit of the church, village and surrounding area of Nidderdale. The hall is a vital part of this rural community and is used currently by 220+ per week, primarily the young and elderly eg, uniformed organisations, playgroup, youth group, dance classes and lunch club and tea @ 3, the latter both for the elderly.

The hall has developed structural problems and the recent church quinquennial survey indicated that the hall had ‘broken it’s back’. Advised by consultant structural engineer that the building has a life of only approx 5 years if action is not taken now to save it.
