A Sweet Chesnut Avenue for East End Park, Leeds

East End Park is a vital public green space in the built-up and multiply deprived area of East of Leeds. Trees for Cities plans to work with local young people and other community members to transform a featureless expanse of grass by planting a wonderfully dramatic sweet chestnut avenue within the park. The total avenue will be 330m in length and 36 trees will be planted.
