A warm welcome to Lunt Meadows Nature Reserve

The project aims to upgrade a construction track to a tarmacked surface and provide 45 new parking spaces, EV chargers, e-bike chargers and coach parking close by the new Learning Centre situated at the entrance of Lunt Meadows Nature Reserve. The project will be one of the first areas visitors to the nature reserve will experience and we would like to welcome members of the public, volunteers, events participant and stakeholders with safe and sustainable facilities onsite. The 77ha wetland acts as a climate change mitigation natural solution, in times of River Alt flooding, and we will educate visitors to the reserve about this increasingly necessary facility.
