A Workshop for Wildlife at the Centre for Wildlife Gardening

The Pavilion building is an important and well-used feature of London Wildlife Trust’s Centre for Wildlife Gardening (CWG) in Peckham. Originally erected in the early 1990s in response to the need for more indoor space on site, the building is in need of a substantial upgrade to make it an accessible, safe and inspiring community space. This project would enable the much-needed refurbishment of the workshop space in order to address the increasing demand by community groups that is greater than the Pavilions capacity in its current state. This project would allow us to transform the Pavilion into a modern, well-designed and usable workshop area which will be used by a range of volunteers, service users, school children and community groups. Users will have access to facilities and staff support to take part in creative workshops and practical wildlife-friendly activities.
