Improvements to the church halls to provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment for community users of all ages.
The hall interior is badly in need of refurbishment. It is poorly heated and some heaters have been given an estimated remaining life of less than one year. New emergency lighting is needed for user safety. There is limited storage space. The wooden floor splinters and the carpets are stained. The lighting is harsh, and the décor is tired. The project will replace the heating, install emergency lighting, build storage cupboards, sand and seal the wooden hall floor, replace carpets and install a matwell, upgrade the lighting and redecorate.
