To pay for the refurbishment of the showers and changing rooms to allow for full disabled access and use.

The changing rooms and showers are currently very dilapidated and are not accessible to wheelchairs or to people using other mobility aids. The inclusion of a disabled access path, disabled toilet facilities and the widening of all doorways is already included in the general refurbishment. Though this allows disabled people to access and use the building, the unsuitability of the showers and changing rooms does not allow them to use the facility on an equal basis to their able bodied peers.
