Abbotshall Road Playing Fields, Catford – New Community Pavilion (2839/D/TP)

The project is to construct a modular community healthy lifestyle centre on the footprint of the current run down pavilion. The building will contain changing rooms, training rooms, a movement and dance studio, a community room, office space and a community café to be run by volunteers. In addition to supporting sporting activity, the building will be used for general community activity, playgroups, baby gyms, pathway to employment training courses and weight management workshops. New perimeter fencing will be installed together with a community garden plus landscaping to include tree planting. The Trust grant is a contribution towards the pavilion construction.
