Abbotskerswell Playing Fields, Buckfastleigh – Multi Sport Court (1909/D)

The project aim to provide a new double multi-sport court to be available to all villagers and in particular the village school that have no all-weather level playing area for sports use. We have many tennis players who play elsewhere, 4 league netball teams who have to rent courts in other towns to play their matches, and a football club who would like to play 5 a side, the local MS Society have also shown an interest in using Tennis facilities and there is a villager who has offered to coach their members.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the costs of the multi-sport court.
