Abbott Hall Bowling Green Pavilion, Kendal

There has been a Bowling Green at Abbott Hall since 1908. It is sited in the conservation area of Abbott Hall Park. Initially the club used a room in Abbott Hall itself but this is no longer available. The only shelter currently is an open sided seating area. The club wish to purchase and erect a 6m x 3.6m (20 x 20 ft) timber bowling green pavilion, with internal toilet and kitchen facilities. This will enable other groups and the general public to use the facilities.
