Access Enhancements to Graham Road Entrance – Albion Green/All Hallows Road Design Commission

Bannerman Road PTA has commissioned an artist/designer to create a new space with children and local residents, for an a newly created pedestrian area directly outside the entrance of Bannerman Road Community Academy, created due to a forthcoming road closure at the junction of All Hallows Road and Albion Road in Bristol. The aim is to alter the
psychological perception of this change in use, and transform the area into a pedestrian and cycle-friendly, engaging space that benefits the whole community. This project extends this work to the area adjacent to the rear entrance to the school on Graham Road, creating a holistic approach to road safety measures that will improve the safety, air quality and environment around the school, and encourage alternative transport.
