Access for all route

The project will build an all weather access route for use by all but will particularly benefit disabled, cyclists, walkers with buggies and horse riders. The project will build an access route that links with and complements existing routes including the National Cycle Network route. The works required include resurfacing, a board walk and a raised area. This will provide a safer drier route which is less environmentally damaging. This is important as the route is through Bricket Wood Common which is an area of SSSI wetland, lowland heath and spriing fed marshes which is subject to flash flooding.
