Access Improvement Project

The proposed project involves the following activities:
-Appointment of an Architect
-Assessment of the current building layout in order to identify the potential to develop an additional access point to the upstairs of the building by designing and putting in place a new lift shaft and lift
-Obtaining any required Builing Control consents
-Obtaining quotes from contractors in order to create the lift shaft and access and additional quotes from lift providers in order to select a lift option which meets the architect led specification and provides sound value for money
-Appoint the contractor to create the access and lift shaft and instruct the preferred lift provider to install and commission the lift…providing training to the Trust’s personnel where appropriate
The stated project aims are as follows:
-To have access and lift shaft options by Feb 2012
-To obtain all match funding from non LandFill sources by Feb 2012
Complete project by September 2012
