Access Improvements at Upton Warren

A programme of visitor access improvements at Upton Warren wetland reserve – Worcestershire’s premier bird watching site and one of WWT’s flagship nature reserves. The reserve consists of a series of pools with viewing hides containing information and providing visitors with an opportunity to view and learn about rare species of birds. Work will include the replacement of 2 bird hides, which have become old and too small for the number of visitors; the refurbishment of the disabled access hide; the construction of a new bridge and boardwalk; the replacement of handrails at the entrance to one of the pools.
