Access Improvements at Wokefield Common

Wokefield Common is an important open natural space for the neighbouring Burghfield Common community. Currently there is a single car park within the woodland but the access point is in a dangerous location and does not allow for access from both directions. This project will widen and improve the entrance to the car park by felling trees to open up the sight lines. Additionally widening of the area that is free from trees and installing a compacted permeable surface will allow a more manageable and sensible layout.
