Access Improvements: Fishponds Wood & Beverley Meads LNR

Fishponds Wood & Beverley Meads Local Nature Reserve lies adjacent to Wimbledon Common in the London Borough of Merton. It is managed by LWT by agreement with the local authority, who own the site. The reserve is rich in wildlife and is a valuable amenity for local people. The wet nature of the reserve makes some areas difficult for visitors to safely explore and enjoy, especially if they have restricted mobility. It is proposed to install 110m of new boardwalk which will help to ensure safe access for visitors at all times of year
