Access Improvements in Lower Rectory Park, Thornhill

Physical improvements to enhance accessibility for all within lower Rectory Park (including the Scheduled site of the moated former Thornhill Hall) comprising a replacement pedestrian footbridge over the moat, new gently sloping pathway to the bridge, step refurbishment and the surfacing of the existing unmade pathway from the public entrance to the park off Hall lane, along the west side of the moat. These works will encourage and facilitate public visits and events, increase awareness and improve the aesthetic quality of the lower park.
