Access Improvements to Whinney Hill Woodlands, Accrington

Whinney Hill Woodland is adjacent to Whinney Hill Landfill site and is popular for informal recreation. There are a number of paths through the woodland some of which have been improved previously with an LCF grant. The aim of the project is to further improve the paths and access in another area of the woodland. 1km of path will be improved along with improved drainage new signage and steps and tree management.
