Accessing Nature at Carvers Rocks, Foremark Reservoir

Carvers Rocks SSSI Nature Reserve lies at the southern end of Foremark Reservoir and is important for its range of habitats, particularly as it hosts one of the last patches of lowland heath in Derbyshire. This project has two elements – to replace the boardwalk across the site which has become springy, unstable and unsafe and to replace the interpretation at the site.
