Accrington Womens Centre Upgrade

Improvements to the centre to create more community space, a large community kitchen and improvements to energy efficiency. Centre provides a range of free services to women on drop in basis. Services include therapeutic support, counselling and support on debt, money, housing, legal advice, access to resources and IT facilities. The centre also offers its community space to a network of charities and organisations in the Accrington area on a non gender specific basis who can also access the centre services. The centre is located in one of the most deprived electoral wards in England with an index of multiple deprivation of 1%.
