Acid Hydrolysis and Anaerobic Digestion of Wastes

The project is to design, construct, commission and operate a pilot scale (50tpa) plant, for the acid hydrolysis and anaerobic digestion of the solids residues from the treatment of Municipal Solid Waste. This will include an associated pilot-scale digester which will be operated on the liquors resulting from the hydrolysis process. Once commissioned the plant will be run for a year in order to gather data for a full economic assessment of the process and to facilitate the design of a full scale plant
