Ackers Activity Centre Development in Sparkbrook, Birmingham

The Ackers Adventure facility requires upgrading by extending and modernising the current delapidated activity lodge creating a more inviting venue to encourage more people to become more active. This will include installing new toilets with changing facilities, a training room, social area and viewing area. The Lodge has fallen in to disrepair and the improvements will provide extra capacity to retain existing users whilst making the site more appealing and accessible for new people to take part in snow sport and outdoor adventurous activities. It will allow the hosting of coaching and athlete development workshops and county sports partnership training and other courses to improve the facilities for the Midland Ski Club, Special Olympics and all the other users of the site for training and events.
