Acklam Rugby Club Pitch Improvements

To install drainage on two pitches to ensure community usage all year round.This will ensure the club,schools,colleges and the local community are not disadvantaged during periods of bad weather.The project will help sustain the already much used facility. The project will enable the club to continue their work with the local Easterside Partnership to encourage more youngsters from the Easterside and surrounding estates to lead a more active and healthier lifestyle.The increased availability of the facility will amount to at least an additional 3hrs.per week during the winter months for all users to access and enjoy the facility.The attached list gives the number of cancelled events during 2009/2010.
