Acorn Theatre Project

The project is to refurbish the former United Reform Church Hall, Queens Street, Worksop.

Groundwork is currently working with a range of community organisations to create a social enterprise that will operate the facility for the beenfit of the local community.

The refurbished facility will be used for performing arts and be the only such venue in the Bassetlaw District of north Nottinghamshire. It will be utilised by a range of performing arts groups, touring companies and schools, as well as interest groups (yoga, scouts, etc), and for weddings and the like.
