Active Leisure Centre, Coxhoe – Solar Panel Installation

Future Leisure in Coxhoe (FLiC) have been running the Active Life Centre at Coxhoe for over ten years and it is now run by local people for local people. The centre is a well-established and much-loved fitness hub at the heart of the local community, providing a range of sports, educational and social activities, for the improvement of health and well-being for people of all ages and abilities.
This project is to install 154 solar panels on the very large roof of the centre. The estimates from the companies and from the BEEP report estimate that this will supply half of the electricity used by the centre therefore reducing electricity bills significantly.
