Adderbury Parish Institute – Heating System

Currently the main hall is heated by radiating electric heaters when a user puts money in the meter; the kitchen and back room are supplied by noisy fan heaters, also operated from the coin meter; the toilets have no heating and just an electric frost protection unit which is in excess of 30 years old; hot water for hand washing is supplied by four different electric hot water boilers. The aim is to replace this with a new system which will include the installation of mains gas, and the subsequent installation of a heating and hot water combi-boiler and radiators.
