Admaston House, Telford – Community Garden and Outdoor Cafe (4872/D)

The community centre serves 500 people per week for a range of activities. A newly added annexe incorporates a training kitchen for Foundation Level catering students and would benefit from the added value of an outdoor community eating area which will need landscaping around an existing paved area. A second outdoor activity area created from a piece of rough ground adjoining one of the new meeting rooms would extend the usability of this room and also provide an independent garden area for children to learn about horticulture and the environment. The works would also enhance the visual appearance of the building contributing to the integrity of the local built environment.
