Admaston House, Telford - Heating System Renewal (40278/D)

The projects aim is to update the well used community facility to meet modern requirements. Increasing cold and damp due to poor heating have an adverse impact on the fabric of the building and deters both new and existing users. This limits the capacity for use of the whole complex affecting groups' ability to grow, e.g. scouts, and reducing access to needy users. A further problem is the prohibitive costs of repair, maintenance and running of the old heating system as its efficiency diminishes and this has an increasingly serious financial impact on overheads. Installation of a new heating system in the old building incorporating a new combi boiler, 24 radiators with thermostats, with all associated works. Also, materials for restorative plaster and paintwork and making good where necessary by volunteers. The Trust grant will contribute towards the heating improvements.
