Admiral Park Recreation Club, Liverpool- Water Bore Hole and Irrigation System (006695)

The Installation of a water bole hole, water tank and irrigation system on the site will ensure that the club is able to provide a wide range of community sport development programmes, without the restrictions of a grass surface during the summer/dry months. With prolonged periods of dry weather, football pitches can become increasingly difficult to play on. In addition, summer seeding or turfing means regular watering is needed to ensure successful establishment of the grass. Water is not only essential for growth but necessary for conditioning turf to handle and recover from stress caused by heavy use and harsh environmental conditions.
