Aira Force - High Force Access

The project aims to create a new access route through this highly popular beauty spot, close to the shores of Ullswater, whilst protecting sensitive habitats from erosion currently experienced as a result of poor footpath surfacing and drainage. A new path will be constructed across fragile habitats, a new footbridge will be installed and an existing, inadequate path will be upgraded, together with suitable intepretation and signage to enhance the visitor experience.
