Aldbrough St John Village Hall

The aim of the project is to provide kitchen fittings and equipment in a newly constructed village hall. The existing hall, built in the l950’s, was deemed unfit for purpose. New facilities will serve the parishes of Aldbrough, Stanwick and Carlton and were strongly supported through public consultation in 2008. The Village is facing closure of local post office shop and public house and as such the Village Hall will provide a focal point for residents for recreational and social activities.
