Alderman Rodgers Park

Alderman Rodgers is a community park in Wythenshawe area in Manchester. The park has been blighted by antisocial behaviour in the past that has deterred people from using the area. The main aim of this project is to overcome negative pereptions of the park, increase use and improve the quality of life for local people by improving the the security and environment of the park. Local people will be involved in activities to improve the area, increasing numbers of people using the park, raise awareness of the park environment and increase sense of ownership. The Friends group will work closely with the Park Warden and other agencies to deliver this project with involvement of as wide a section of the local community as possible.
