Aldwinians RUFC – Community Clubhouse Renovation

Our project is to increase community use of our clubhouse. The clubhouse is used by a number of local groups (detailed further below) as well as our 450 sporting (primarily rugby, but also netball) users and their friends and families.

The current windows (over 25 years old) in our clubhouse, as well as our bi-fold doors, are in a state of disrepair. Combined with poor ceiling tiles and lighting in the same area, the clubhouse is unattractive to users and inefficient to both heat and light.

We will use the funding to fit new windows (function room and entrance) and French doors (entrance) in our community clubhouse. The current windows are no longer fit for purpose, and the installation of these windows and doors will make the venue more attractive and comfortable (providing greater warmth) for users.
