The project will bring a redundant space back into use as a community garden
Building and enhancing the community and generating a strong and positive community spirit.

Facilitating residents and tenants to meet and so to get to know their neighbours.

Providing an opportunity for socially isolated people to come out of their homes.

Enhanced fitness through gardening.

A safe place for children to play and to make new friends.

Increased gardening knowledge and skills for children and adults.

Some informal and formal links with local schools and community centres.

Pleasure from flowers.

Improved healthy diet from the fresh fruit and vegetables.

Donation, to local elderly people, of spare flower, fruit and vegetables.

Decreased social isolation.

Health benefits from being out of doors.
