All Weather Three-bay Training Facility, Stourbridge Cricket Club

This is a project to build a state-of-the-art, all weather three bay outdoor cricket practice facility on a previously overgrown area at the side of the club car park. The facility will include two different types of pitch – porous and non-porous, which will provide a pitch choice for the coaches when developing players. The porous type pitches imitate grass pitches, allowing a variable bounce of the ball, testing adult players more vigorously than they would if batting on a non porous pitch, which gives a more predictable bounce.
