Allan Park Playground

There is currently no provision for children’s play in the centre of the busy township of Sowerby Bridge and Allan Park has been identified as a suitable site. There were a number of items in the park at one time but these deteriorated over a long period of time and were eventually removed as a risk to health and safety. The local residents and school have been pressing for new equipment to be installed, in part to encourage healthy exercise activities in the local community. This will also contribute towards a wider vision to renovate other areas of the park back to its former glory.
