Allan Park Ramp Access Improvements

The project will involve removal of the railings and the current stairs. New retaining walls will be constructed and then material will be used to backfill the space to create a new ramp which will comply with DDA regulations. A new handrail will then be installed.
The Allan Park ramp works are part of a wider strategy to develop the busy Edinburgh section of the towpath to deliver its potential as a sustainable transport corridor.
