Allensford Wood

The project will improve the main entrances to the woods by opening them up, controlling access to prevent motorbikes to make them safer and more attractive for local people. Work will also be undertaken to improve the footpaths throughout the woods to make them more accessible to more people, alongside this a range of habitat improvement works will be undertaken to remove non native species and improve the biodiversity value. The project has been developed with the local community who are very keen to see the woods become more accessible and attractive.
